Septoplasty is a procedure to correct a condition called deviated septum. A deviated septum is a deformed piece of cartilage and bone in the middle of our nose. If deformed enough it can lead to nasal obstruction, nose bleeds, recurrent sinus infections, snoring and contribute to sleep apnea. A procedure called septoplasty is a well tolerated outpatient surgery, which has a quick recovery periods and can sometimes even be done in the office setting with numbing medications.
